Scene Shuffle Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing or using Scene Shuffle (“App”) or visiting SceneShuffle.com (“Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Website.

2. Description of Service

Scene Shuffle is a writing tool that lets you create, arrange, and store narrative scenes in one or more projects. We provide basic functionality at no cost; an optional Pro Membership unlocks additional project-creation capacity.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Content; Ownership

You retain all rights to and ownership of the content you create (“User Content”).

By using Scene Shuffle, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit your User Content solely for providing the Service.

We will never sell your User Content to third parties.

5. Pro Membership & Payment

Pro Membership: A one-time fee of $5.99 grants you unlimited projects.

Free Tier Limits: Without Pro, you may add unlimited scenes within a single project only.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed via our third-party provider; all payment issues or refunds must be handled through them in accordance with their policies.

Refunds: Refunds are at our sole discretion and subject to the policies of the payment processor. Please contact us promptly if you believe you’re entitled to a refund.

6. Pro Membership Activation & Use

Pro features unlock immediately upon successful payment.

You may create and manage as many projects as you want after purchase.

The Pro Membership cannot be transferred, shared, or resold.

7. Acceptable Use

You may create and store any lawful content.

You agree not to use the App to host illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts if we believe, in our sole discretion, that content violates these Terms or any applicable law.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you consent to our practices as described therein.

9. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid for Pro Membership in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if you have not purchased Pro).

10. Modifications to Terms and Service

We may modify these Terms or the App features at any time.

We’ll post revised Terms with an updated Effective Date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including breach of these Terms, without liability.
